Air India, the national flag carrier of India has an extensive network of flights to both national and international destinations. Air India-Baggage allowance
Air India permits every traveller to have two bags checked in, as far as they do not exceed 25 kgs of luggage for Economy Class passengers, 35 kgs for Executive Class Passengers and 40 Kgs for First Class Passengers On the whole the standard size of each case should not exceed 55 cm (l) x 35 cm (w) x 25 cm (h) – including pockets, wheels, and handles. You can carry a handbag inside the cabin provided it does not exceed 8 kgs. There are certain luggage restrictions. You cannot carry lighters, scissors, firearms, explosive materials and any kinds of flammable items. If a passenger is travelling with an infant, they can carry 1 additional small baggage item in the cabin at no extra charge.
